Molly and Gladys
There was a little penguin, his name was Molly
He lived inside a cupboard where was kept a ladder
Nobody knew he lived there except an old cat and a big brown dog
He would eat some bugs and grab a few flies
He'd drink the big brown dog's water and then he'd try to fly,
He'd never make it up but he'd always make it down
Oh my - so on and on this all would happen until one day the old black maid caught him
At first she didn't like him, but that didn't last too long and then pretty soon they were the best of friends, this old black woman and the young penguin
Well, Molly the penguin and Gladys the maid were such a happy couple
Until one cloudy day some kids down the street found out about young Molly
They decided they would steal him and play a nasty trick on the homecoming queen at the prom that night!
Molly hadn't been taken for too long when Gladys found him missing and quickly sized up the situation;
she grabbed her broom and threw on her coat and she went down to the school
and she found those mean kids but she couldn’t find Molly, no...
Then she remembered that he liked to swim so she went down to the pool and sure enough there he was, so she picked him up and chased those kids with her broom
She swatted their tails real good!
Molly the penguin and Gladys the old black maid went home and had fun for a long, long time.
